On Sunday, June 19, 2022 four Los Angeles based members of the U16 Boys Basketball Team of Armenia with Head Coach Zorik Isajane attended Divine Liturgy at St. Leon Armenian Cathedral in Burbank, CA on the Feast of Holy Etchmiadzin. His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, Western Diocese of the Armenian Church, acknowledged the young men and gave his blessings to team members Grikor Moghoyan, Gregory Guyujyan, Gregory Gazarian and Edward Kaladjian and Head Coach Zorik Isajane. Later this week they will travel to Armenia for training camp and join up with the members of the team who reside in Armenia.
Head Coach Zorik Isajane of Los Angeles and Assistant Coach Sevag Ketenjian of New Jersey will lead the U16 Boys Basketball Team of Armenia in the FIBA U16 European Championship, Small Countries Division C, in Kosovo from July 12-17, 2022.
